We remain focused on providing excellent dental care for our patients and upholding our values of kindness, community, and honesty. As with many small businesses, rising administrative costs and other economic factors precipitate a modest change in our office policy. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we implement a change with respect to the collection of payments on the date of service. This change is in keeping with industry standards.

If your dental insurance plan is considered “in-network”, meaning the Dentist is a participating provider, we request you pay the estimated patient portion (co-payment and/or deductible) on the date of service. This amount will be based upon the historical plan benefit and coverage levels as provided to us by your insurance company. In many instances, especially with preventative/diagnostic care, you may have no co-payment. Claims will be submitted to your insurance. Any balance not paid by your insurance company after claims are processed would be your responsibility. After insurance annual maximums are reached, patients will be responsible for the full office fees for recommended treatment.

Our practice accepts all PPO dental insurance plans, even if we are not contracted, provided the plan allows for “out of network” benefits. In these cases, we will collect the full fee on the day of service, and immediately submit a claim on your behalf to request reimbursement directly to you. Claim payments are typically processed within 30 days but can be processed as quickly as 3 business days.

It is essential we have your current insurance information prior to your appointment so we may verify coverage and benefits in advance, and process claims without delay. Please be aware that not all services are covered in all contracts. We will help all our patients receive the maximum benefits their plans will allow for the treatment they need.

Accepted forms of payment include cash, personal checks, and credit cards (VISA/Mastercard/Discover and American Express). Our practice also accepts Care Credit, a healthcare financing company which offers interest-free and extended payment options.
